stompboxfreak72 was having one made. Not sure if he has received it yet.

They're pretty killer :D It's a built to spec super strat with a really wide array of features to pick from if you dig bolt neck shredders. The couple I messed with while in his shop felt great and were very resonant acoustically. I didn't have the chance to plug one in as my band mate and I were picking up a cab for a show. If I had to compare it to anything, I'd say OLD San Dimas/Charvel custom shop in feel. Very solid feeling, great fret work and "Splawn level" feel. Hell, give them a call at the shop and they'll tell you more about what options are available.

I have a Koa super strat, 1 hum 1 single, gold hardware, ebony board...it's my favorite guitar. Really, really good feeling axe. Best neck I've played yet, although I'd like to try a Luxxtone...but for the price ? Splawn guitars can't be beat.

patience is virtue they say....I guess you're not very virtuous?
delays stink...i'm sure the fiddle will be great !

They do ss frets, maple tops and bindings? All I've seen are natural wood finishes

I heard they really expose flaws in your playing technique

Whos's building the parts is the real question,....................?

I had a Commando built for me years ago. It was nice. It looked exactly like the Music Zoo Natural series Charvels you see on Ebay from time to time. It was a nice guitar. I like my USA Charvels better (and they are Pro Mods). I sold it a long time back but it was of good quality.

Scott will do almost anything,,,even paint in lacquer and relic it if you want,,,great guitars for the money,

Mine arrived today. I posted vids on youtube. I also started a thread here on RG.

Guitar is fantastic.

The only complaint I have about mine is the headstock shape...it looks too small to me. I'd like it better if it looked like an old Kramer "beak" headstock.
