Anyone know what transformers Splawn started using in 2020 for their Quickrods? The choke in mine reads classic tone but no name on the output or power trannies that I can see.

motorboy - I would guess Classic Tone if I had to bet. Have you tried contacting Scott?

In 2020 classic tone went under and I believe he went to pacific audio iron since they could custom build/spec what he wanted and could also get material. We all know supply chain shortages are responsible for a lot of businesses going under during the pandemic so it was one of his top priorities.

If you call and tell him you own a 2020 and would love to talk about the iron he’s more than happy to discuss. I’m a prior customer of his with 4x12s so I called him asking a few questions and he was more than happy to talk. He’s really nice and doesn’t mind taking a few minutes to talk to owners of his amps.

I really like his new stuff he is making.

That is good info @glpg80 and I agree that Scott is very accessible and easy to talk to.

Never heard of Pacific Audio Iron so that's a new one to me.
