Someone here posted about this the other day and i think they were there. Amazing that there were no deaths.

Crazy, I heard they had just finished. Good thing they all got out of there or the story may have had a different ending.

whoops :aww:

If I were the person who broke their leg, I'd be all like (in a very sarcastic tone), "Ya, JUST AMAZING, all that and just one broken leg, AWESOME!!"

Isn't that the 2nd time this year there has been a major stage problem in Canada? They are damn lucky that only 1 broken leg was the result. Storm, or not, lawyers will be all over those indemnity clauses.

Agreed. We're the highest taxed citizens in the free world!

It's because we export all of our good lumber and just keep the kindling for ourselves. Doesn't leave much to build with. Hence, the shape of our homes up here.....

I'm seeing them August 6th. Great band that still sounds as good as they used to.

That could have went terribly wrong if the band was still playing. By the way the stage went down the band probably would have been OK, but all the people behind the scenes might have been a different story.

Yeah I was there, another poster was there too. was pretty crazy. Went down quick BUT due to winds the stage actually got blown backwards and down away from most of the gear. What did the gear in was the rain and heil right after :-/ We all got out of there because with the strength of the wind we thought the tents behind us might lift and come across the field and smoke some of the monitor towers as well. Was scary for about 10 minutes but then it was just rain. They had just gotten off stage though.. the drummer was just off when bam, stage comes down. You can see footage of it go down on youtube as well. Was fast. They are lucky that the wind forced it backwards and down though.

How goes the [inspiration] battle Bob? I was just listening to your Uberschall clips last week and really digging them.

Personally, I've always been a pessimist. Actually... I call it just being "realistic". ;)
