Re your woke assertion, there can be no doubt IMHO that the creators kinda jumped the shark with Discovery.
Thankfully Strange New Worlds is on-point; it's fantastic and I love it. Have you seen series 3 yet (it just finished showing all episodes a few weeks ago)? Talk about a variety of delivery and production styles. Huge kudos to the makers.

I have to give Strange New Worlds another shot though...... I mean each iteration of Star Trek is bound to have a couple crappy episodes......
But yeah started watching Enterprise again after one of the 3rd to last episodes of the season of Strange New Worlds just because it got too weird for me and giving Picard/Discovery vibes
