Guys, what would be causing static thru my rig when I touch the pedals on my board? It's like I can tap the housing of one of the pedals and hear pops/static/noise. Bad cable? Bad power supply cable?
Does this only happen at one place? Or anywhere you have your rig plugged in?
If the former and if your home it may be worth having an electrician check out the wiring to your house?
Idk, just throwing ideas out there. I used to get zapped sometimes at my old drummers house while playing my guitar and sometimes I would hear talk radio or phone calls through my cab.
Only at his house though, I blamed it on poor wiring.
No it's happened at several gigs. I'm wondering if it could be an input or output jack on one of the pedals, because I recently re-did my whole pedalboard with new cables, power supply, etc, and it's still doing it.

Must be a pedal then, take them out one at a time until you find the culprit. I would have thought cable or power supply, but you have done that already.
