All the sudden you can't get a decent american strat for under a grand any more!? I keep getting outbidded in the 900 range.
10 years ago, they were like 600-800 for a standard run of the mill american strat. wtf mang... i'm stuck in 2008's gear prices

for sure. A hardtail is what i was initially looking for forever. finally gave up on that. I passed on a white late 90's one with a stainless steel refret for like 800 on reverb a while back. money wasn't right at the time. maybe 1 in every 200 american strats posted for sale is a hardtail.

Home boy sold me a "new old stock" guitar, essentially. One tiny nick on the back of the neck, other than that, not even a t-shirt swirl. sealed case candy, all the hardware is mirror shinny new, some pickguard plastic still under the screws.
Vibed with it right away. doesn't need a set up, just new strings.
