just wait until we have AI powered robotic butchers.

tech companies are having many layoffs, big names and small names. Much of the white collar office jobs being cut is due to AI, and it's accelerating.

My latest job as a tech company regional CTO, we had all kinds of AI tools, and we sold AI and AI enhanced products.

The AI tools we used made tasks that took hours without AI now took minutes with AI. One example, I had AI tools that could scan searches, industry news, company news, SEC filings, and websites, consolidate the information; find their strategic goals, projects, technology/products used by a customer company from many sources, then connect into sites like linked in to find the people at the customer and create call lists; and using this information, AI would even author draft introduction emails. I could use the information gathered many different ways for different goals.

The AI did all the work gathering, filtering , connecting the dots, summarizing and organizing the information for an executive, sales or technical discussion...and give me the names of the people I needed to meet.

Now there was still some effort, design and art to get the best from our AI tools, but it's already getting better, with less work for human workers to do.

It 's already reducing the size and roles on that company's sales teams; I can imagine having AI create sales strategies, briefs, presentations etc., automatically, then finding the people at the customer for the meeting, and the tech people at the company needed for the meeting, scheduling the meeting, sending intro / invites to internal and external customer/partner...all in a matter of minutes.

...and getting manufacturing jobs back after decades of sending them to other countries takes time; and Trump has more deals for foreign investment for US factories from many countries including Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and more; and commitments from American CEOs to bring some manufacturing back.

of course, as the Hyundai plant in Georgia shows, we still have too many illegal invaders taking American jobs, and employers that don't face real consequences for their actions....the Hyundai plant was also fined for water / water pollution violations...and were given a slap on the wrist which does nothing to incentivize these companies to comply with laws, rules and regulaitons.

Ignorant people like shit-ville Dan aka Jabba can't and won't comprehend this. He only understands two words: Taco and Bell. :ROFLMAO:

This dyke has her facts mixed up. Those illegal Mexicans were the temp labor construction crew hired by whatever construction company was hired to build the factory. Not direct auto employees. The factory isn’t even built yet.

Almost every comstruction crew is made of up at least 50% illegals. That’s why the Home Depot parking lots are empty now. Hell they even got rid of the Arepa food truck that used to be there… no illegals to feed anymore.
