Hi
I'm using Smallbox Combo at the moment. In the loop is a stereo delay/reverb pedal. What I'd like to do is take the 2nd output from that pedal and go into the return of another amp. Because of how I have the SB set (higher treble / scaled back presence) - going into a "neutral" amp tends to sound fairly "spikey".... aside from getting another SB combo (which might be the way to go simply for "backup" reasons)... what else would you recommend:
Some "in-house" options at the moment:
- use a Pink Taco or Splawn SS - eq and fx return to tune the sound
- use an eq and HK Redbox direct to PA (using the PA as a separate "amp")
Other considerations
- Get a Dirty Shirley combo (and have loop installed). Might be nice to have the variation in the sag and power amp - would need to have the presence post return.
- other options....?
Thanks in advance!!!
