My JP100 (JP60 with a quilt veneer top) has some good woodwork all around, pretty consistent. Some fret edges were kind of sharp, the wiring was so-so (input jack wire came with a cold solder joint but easily fixed), other than that no real issues. As for the guitar itself, I'm not crazy about the stock pups on it, and the flat D-shaped neck isn't my thing, not the same profile as the JPXI I tried. I believe this year Sterling has a JP model with the Crunch Lab and Liquifire pups.
