Got a jp50 at the shop and it plays really good and the stock pi kudos aren't bad either!

I have a matte black jp50 and after installing better electronics it is on of my go to guitars. It sounds very good and plays amazing. The trem isnt the greatest but i have it blocked so it doesnt need to do anything fancy

I had the first run model of the JP50. The only mod I did was putting in Liquid Fire and Crunch Lab pickups.
Compare to my EBMM JP6, it's not the same obviously, BUT it's a seriously great guitar. Plays great and look great. The neck was really well made. The finish was just amzing to look at (pearl red burst).
I don't know about the current models. I'm going to try out the 7-string JP when they come out.

My JP100 (JP60 with a quilt veneer top) has some good woodwork all around, pretty consistent. Some fret edges were kind of sharp, the wiring was so-so (input jack wire came with a cold solder joint but easily fixed), other than that no real issues. As for the guitar itself, I'm not crazy about the stock pups on it, and the flat D-shaped neck isn't my thing, not the same profile as the JPXI I tried. I believe this year Sterling has a JP model with the Crunch Lab and Liquifire pups.
