that amp is still on my bucket listnice rig!
having recently revisited the Friedman SS v1, i was reminded of how great that amp is!
didn't notice that, wow. He has everything on loops, I wonder if it's in its own loop, or used with another pedal.Interesting Eq pedal. It’s like 50 bucks.
whoah, badass man!
didn't think I'd ever say this ..... but man ..... that Pink half stack is the shit !!!!
It’s inspired by the pink half stack he used at the NHL Classic, first pink one made, only one with discontinued raygun logos.didn't think I'd ever say this ..... but man ..... that Pink half stack is the shit !!!!
Recent photos show cabs on stage.Theu didn't mention it in the video but is he back to missing cab/s now or still using the captorX ?
Weren't they always on stage for the look though? I find it interesting as Steve was saying it was the best way to get consistent tone night after night. Who knows, maybe they didn't hold up to road use.
Start at about 11:30, he says there is a BE100 and a SS100 each into a Red Seven load box with IRs. Everything is stereo, one amp on the left and the other one on the right. They talk about him having stereo monitors. They don't even use the loops on the amps.Theu didn't mention it in the video but is he back to missing cab/s now or still using the captorX ?

Way too many gizmo's. I know he can play but, can he sound good without all the processing?
Think about all those super guitar hero's, VH, SRV, Jimmy Page, Jimmy Hendrix. You know what they all had in common?
I like SS but he will never be in that historic category. He will be lumped in with Satch and Via.
