Very nice
can you describe your setup and what delay are you using. Effects loop or front of amp

oh I forgot to write... I saw it yesterday and I must saw..AWESOME tone and you my friend have SWEET chops!

That was definitively the best version i heard besides Vais own. You really nailed it down to the point. Perfect playing and your tone is to die for!!

Think I like your tone a little more than Vai's. Maybe use a touch more treble or presence to get a little more bite, and that would do it for me. Did you use the combo or did you go out to another cab?

That was sick.

One of those videos that just reinforces why I love my Einstein so much.

Sorry guys - I didn't get any emails from the forum telling me of these posts...

Anyway, the setup is as follows:

Guitar: Ibanez RG2820 Prestige - Dimarzio ToneZone bridge, Dimarzio Air Norton neck
Amp: Einstein on Channel 2 - Mids and Treble at about 10:00, Bass at 8:00
Amp into Genz Benz 2x12 cabinet (which is in an adjacent room)
I mic the cab with a Royer r121 and a Shure SM57 (pretty much in this configuration: http://www.royerlabs.com/recording_tips ... 35_LG.html)

The mics come in through a Great River 1NV and RNP Preamps. From there into my computer through Lynx2 sound card. The effects are reverb (a software simulation of a Lexicon 960 large hall setting) and delay with about 300ms and 2 seconds of decay or whatever you call it.

later,

brian
