What band is this for?

SUNN O)))

not my cup o tea, but there are people out there who eat up this drone nonsense and consider it to be more music than much of what is released these days.

yeah, i dont care for them too much, but I have seen them at a festival, and I have to say it's a sight to behold. also, it's so frigging loud that you dont hear it so much as feel it with yr body. mostly i just think the above setup info is kind of hilarious. the speaker wall does look cool as hell in person, though.

I would hate to be part of their road crew that has to set this up got every show.

I've seen them twice. It's not something I would play on a daily basis but seeing them live is quite an experience (IMO).
Funny thing happened when I saw them the first time, during the first chord they played some guy in front started puking because of all the bass tones.

Always reminds me of this:

This is a band I couldn't get into at all... until I saw them.

it would, but despite my apathy about this band at this point, trust me that they do not.

That is the raddest fucking thing I have ever heard. I MUST see these guys live.

With songs that span upwards of 35 minutes in length, their set list is probably written on the back of one hand.
