There's just something about a stock old Marshall i can't resist. Somehow every piece is unique and tells a story.
This 1972 50w head is a recent purchase.. it had a few mods, but no holes. So i spend a bit of time sourcing out all the NOS original components I needed, and i put it back to '72 original spec.. (with great help from the metro forum) It sounds incredible! Especially through this '68 cab with g12m's
I added a Lar/Mar PPIMV just to check it out, and the amp rips. It's definitely a very raw and unrefined tone which is super angry yet very old school... love it. By no means modern haha. I know this threat is about stock Marshalls, so ill have it converted back asap
