If you are in the Chicago area be on the lookout for one of the Sandberg Sybill basses. It was stolen from Chicago Music Exchange this afternoon. See the picture below, there is no mistaking this bass. Only 3 exist in America and we know where the other two are. They are nowhere near Chicago so if you see someone with this bass, that;s our guy!!!!

If you can help us find her contact me here or call me at 973-980-2621. You can also call Marc Najar at Chicago Music Exchange at 773-525-7773

Please repost this and pass the word anywhere you can. Let's bring Sybill home!!!

thanks, Andy

Great news, this doesn't happen often but thanks to social media and some great people including Chicago's finest!!!!

Sybill has been retrieved safe and sound! Thanks to all of our bass lovin' friends who pitched in, Morris Euman, Jauquo, Super Sleuth Marc Najar at Chicago Music Exchange, Jackie Clark, and all of you who re-posted and made an effort to help us get her back. We thank you all for proving once again that bass players are some of the most sincere, honest and loyal breed out there! You guys are the best!!!

Sybill is on her way back home to Chicago Music Exchange so go visit her but don't even think about taking her off the wall!!! There are only 3 of these in America and the other two currently have homes so if you want to be the proud owner of one of the most unique basses you will ever see then visit Marc at CME and try her out!!

Wow congrats on getting it back quickly. Someone just walked out of CME with it?

all second news (from me) so fact check still required but, someone walked out with the bass from CMX Saturday, we went to all our social media with the photo, someone spotted it at a gig, called us, gig was also on for Sunday, staff from CMX and the Police went over and got it back...amazing story and testament to the power of social media and good people doing the right thing.
