Hey guys, still shocked that this happened. It was a JPXI 7 with some BKP Juggernauts installed. They left the case and grabbed the guitar from the stage at my church. I'm not sure how to post pictures from my iPhone but I'll do that later today. Should I post the serial number as well? The guitar should stick out like a sore thumb so hopefully this gets resolved. Thanks.

Dave

stolen from a church? wow that's a new low. What church was it? (I live in tampa bay)

that sucks bro, there are some bad people out there.

It was Cornerstone Community Church in Port Richey. I wrote Tampa because it's not all that far from me so I figured it'd be better. No idea when it happened but I played it last Sunday night and I come in this morning, gone.

Sorry to hear that Dave!

That really sucks.
I'll keep my eyes/ears open for you. Would help to have pics or at least color.

Trying to get the pictures loaded up but my laptop is being a useless pile of crap lol. I'll keep trying, it's onyx blue and has black on black BKP uncovered juggernauts installed.

Finally got some pictures up. One of them is before I changed to the all black bkp juggs. Should really stick out next to other JPXI's because of that. Thanks guys.

Really sorry that happened to you. Hope you recover it and they nail the scum that stole it. Unfortunately, your gear is not in any way safe from theft even in your own church. I've read countless reports across many guitar forums about gear stolen from the owners' churches. Some people know no boundaries.

Definitely report it to the police, with the serial number. That can help if someone tries to sell it to a pawn shop. Watch Craigslist and Ebay as well.

Reported today and the police do have the serial number of the guitar and description/pictures of it. Guess its a waiting game now.

Sorry to hear for your loss. That is a VERY UNIQUE looking guitar. I am sure it will surface soon somewhere.

I never leave any gear at church. Things tend to grow legs around there.

Sorry for your loss, but why in the world would you leave your guitar at church for a week?? MY guitars go HOME with me no matter where I'm at.

Remember...church is full of ex alcholics, drug addicts, THIEVES, homeless people etc

Though they may find 'The Lord' they still battle with their demons. I see it alllll the time

Stolen from a church, sounds like someone will end up in the eternal pit of fire. On a side note, a 7 string at church? Sounds like the type of church I need to be attending.

From my perspective, these super-fun rock band ministries are nothing more than Sunday morning "jam" centers.

It is written; "My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves..."
- Matt 21:13

Thread ender post, du jour! :D

I'll reply to most of these eventually haha. We actually have the time and day that it was taken now it's a matter of figuring out who was in the building then and thankfully we have a sign in list.

Thankfully my church is not one of these mega church concert things. It never has been and if it ever turns into that I will leave.

Hey brother call me. I know most of the musicians in NPR area and can put you in contact with dealers to be on the lookout as well. I will keep my eyes open for sure! It's happened to me in the past. Sometimes it's just a guy walking in off the street and not even a church goer.
