Strap lock poll - What do you like the best? I own Dunlop and Schaller but prefer Dunlop.

Grolsch.

I've tried nearly all the others and I like the good old rubber Grolsch washers best. No squeaking, clanking, rattling, coming loose or failing. I do still use Schallers on my Les Paul but one of these days I'll switch that over too.

Haha Yep that is definatlly in the other catagory. :2thumbsup:

+1 for grolsch red washers. Each strap lock comes with a free beer!!!

Another vote for Dunlop. It's the first thing I've tried and I've never had a problem so why change?

Shaller's. I like that besides there being a latching mechanism, gravity alone will keep the guitar in the cradle portion on the strap.

Zepplin, Great strap locks that hold on tight, and are easy to use. But I think they are out of production now.

I have a combination of Grolsh, Schaller (w/ a drop of LocTite), and DiMarzio.

The singer in my blues band uses two of these Norwegian 5 krone coins...

Strap locks for the grand total of $1.82 :D

I use both Dunlop and Schaller. I like 'em both. My explorer came with the schaller's and my LP came with Dunlop's. But I used to primarily throw Dunlop's on my guitar's.

dunlop. never had a problem with them that wasn't my fault. i've seen people that use schallers drop their guitars, but i think that was user error as well.
