just out of curiosity, has anyone used a singlecoil strat for metal? maiden use them and sound badass, but was wondering who else use them for metal?

Dude, Maiden use single coil sized humbuckers, not real singles. Its the JB jr I believe!![]()

Dude, Maiden use single coil sized humbuckers, not real singles. Its the JB jr I believe!![]()
i know that dude, but they wouldnt be as thick as a full humbucker, they'd be lacking something right?

think in a strat they'd sound good for more modern metal tones? or is that just.......no?
