Purchased a TC Hall of Fame reverb a couple months ago and thought it was so so, nothing spectacular... not bad but there has to be much better I would think. Any users that can comment.

Well my flint sounds better than the hof.

I'm not a big pedal setting tweaker and like simple stuff but the HOF was just meh. What do you suppose the difference is between the Blue Sky and Flint?

It's really worlds apart. T.C. Has some nice stuff but it just lacks the depth of sound in that series. You can certainly tell the difference.

good to hear, thanks!

I landed a Blue Sky a few weeks ago, its one of the better verbs I've ever heard, but I havent heard everything. Not sure how it stacks up.
My bass player (who researches everything VERY meticulously) said it would be the one to get, been very pleased with it.

I have one friend with a bluesky and another with a hof. Much prefer the blue sky, it's more versatile and just sounds sweeter to me. I don't notice as much difference between the hof presets as I expected to.

I went cheap though and got a boss rv6. I thought it held its own in the comparison clips to the bluesky. I hope it works out or I will have to plunk down the coin for the Strymon.

Hof sucks- Straight up. Dont understand why people are into it. Maybe "ambient" guys dig it? I'm jones in for a Flint.

kinda have to agree, I was not to fond of the flashback either but I know they make some pretty good stuff.

I've got a flint and a space. The flint is cool for the plate setting, the springs good too, but I'm not a huge spring reverb type guy. I never use the modualted 80's delay on it. I got my space for like $60 more than I paid for the flint and it does 100x as much and sounds better for most applications, plus midi connectivity and stereo ins/outs without having the open up the pedal and switch to a trs setting. Worth seeing what you could find a space for since strymon stuff sells for like $10 less than new on the used market for some reason.

Yes, in demand I guess I shot this guy an offer of $255 and he countered with $260 so I had to pull the trigger because they are usually a bit more used and got tired of waiting for a better price lol.

Ok I have got some time with this and the plate verb settings are way better than the HOF and make it sound like a toy in comparison! Killer verb and now I need to revisit the El Cap lol!
