Strymon Mobius (just take my money already!)

Listening to the demo's and I'm drooling. I can start selling some pedals now.

Not really a chorus guy but a really good sounding pedal.

Click through to the page on the Strymon site. They have 12 videos now in the tabs at the halfway point of the page.

As danyeo said WANT and I think I too will be selling 4 of my pedals (phaser, flanger, chorus and univibe) and replacing them with this (if price is not prohibitive)!

Killer. I'd be on that like a fly on shit if I had the coin.

The thing that's got me sold on this is it clears up 4 spots on a pedalboard for 4 effects I would never use combined anyway and that I'm more in love with the nostalgia of the circuits and chips in the originals than the authenticity of the sounds (which the Strymon folks nail so well anyway).

I've got an MXR Script Phase 90, MXR M-117 grey Flanger, Redwitch Empress Chorus and BBE Soul Vibe I'll put on eBay immediately if it'll put me in reach of purchasing this gizmo!

With that much space cleared I could probably move down to a Pedaltrain Jr for my Polytune, Wah, El Capistan and this. And probably still have room for a boost or dirt pedal in case I ever need to use a different amp!

I hadn't seen this section yet. Make that 5 pedals it can replace

Looks like I'll have to be making a few changes to my pedalboard already

Seriously sounds fantastic.

Man that sounds beautiful.
It seems like it could bump my CE-5 after 20+ years.

FINALLY! The videos. This thing is un-fucking-believable. The only draw back I could see is not being able to use more than one effect at a time.
Timeline, mobius. Koko boost, ISP, tuner, VP and an expression pedal On my next board. Just needs a octave or harmonized section and you could call it the kitchen sink.

Sigh, it looks like Strymon will build up 100% of my new board. TimeLine and now the Mobius... my wallet is going to HATE me!

+1

I really wish they would quit meddling in pedals and just build a rack version that has multiple effects blocks with internal routing capabilities ala the g-major. It only makes sense. Their effects are amazing - why limit it to just one or two at a time

I love my damage control timeline but that is why i bought the timeline over the nexus - the nexus did not have the same capabilities. TC electronics is getting the idea with the X4 and the g major II and eventide did the rack before the pedal.

On the flip side this pedal sounds amazing and is a chorus swiss army knife. AM, FM, and PM all wrapped up into a single pedal. Sounds killer

Sound nice & has a TON of possibilities. But still, for some reason, it's not enough for me to ditch my Glass Nexus. The clips don't seem as organic as what I get from my GN.

Maybe when I can try one in person....

Just got an e-mail promotion from Strymon to pre-order it: $449.00

Not gonna make me immediately whip out my debit card. But not outrageous either. Will have to see what I can get for the pedals it would replace.
