Strymon Timeline Boost Function in SLO Loop

I know there are several folks that use the Strymon Timeline with their SLO.

I was reading of a 3DB boost feature on the Timeline, and wondered if anyone has used this function as a solo boost with their SLO.

As we all know, the SLO's loop is tricky, and wanted some info before investing in this pedal

Never tried that specific boost, but I can't see how it's different than any other. You can't get a volume boost with the SLO's loop using a signal booster (if the preamp is already out of headroom, ie overdriven). You'll just get more overdrive. You have to use a cut box in the loop to cut volume for rhythm and go back to full power for solos.
