Strymon TimeLine / Mobius with an insert FX loop

Just wondering if any of you guys have tried the Strymon stuff with a straight insert loop?

Insert Loop = Treble pot wiper > Send jack > FX > Return jack > Master vol type loop.

Thoughts??
