Gotta say, the whole Randall bad ass metal theme or make floor pedals look like they are transformers deal kind of turns me off BUT the sounds themselves and what Fortin has done with the line, are pretty solid and appealing. Here we have a FET pedal on the ground which could easily handle the distortion needs of anyone who didn't want to lug an amp to a gig and his boost and overdrive pedals sounds pretty damn good and effective at what they were designed to do.

What do you guys think? I'd like to see the facepunch on a stock JCM800.

I'd like to try the FacePunch myself. Really wanting to see this stuff in the stores. There are 4 Guitar Centers in my area along with a bunch of other music stores and I have yet to see even a Diavlo series amp(other than the 5 watt combo the did with GC). The FP seems like it would be cool to play with and it sounds pretty damn cool with the RGOD.

It did sound pretty good. Not amazing but good.

I personally feel that OD should be built into the face punch or at least the facepunch should have had a little bit more gain.

One pedal like that to get what I want would be amazing but needing two or more almost makes it pointless in my eyes.

I do understand this is with Torpedo cab so I myself am curious like Kapo, I would really like to see this demo with a true power amp.

I am unfarmiliar with the C.A.B. does that have a built in power amp?

I think the C.A.B when paired with the software does give the option to toggle on / off your power amp of choice. Saw that in a Pete Thorn demo. I'm assuming that you can save whatever you choose as a preset on the C.A.B itself but that i don't know. I'm still on the fence with the torpedo stuff. Would love someone to A/B their own impulse vs the mic on a cab. Don't move a thing. Show the difference between the two. Then i'd be convinced. I keep thinking there is a bit more fizzies where the impulse is concerned.
