Was not sure best place to post this but here goes. I can't seem to find good lighting for my piano which lives in my living room where there is no overhead lighting. I only have 3.5 inches behind the sheet music support for a lamp base. I currently use the Mighty Bright Duet, clipped on to the top of the sheet music support but the light isn't all that bright and one led bulb is brighter and 'whiter' than the other, a distraction. Also, if I have more than two pages of music spread out, the Duet doesn't provide good coverage. Any suggestions on what type of lamp or lighting you are using that works well where ambient room light or overhead lighting isn't available? Thanks!

What about an LED strip?

I'm thinking you could buy one the length of the keyboard and mount it on the underside of a wooden rail that can sit along the rear of the unit. You could paint the rail black or whatever to match the keyboard and you'd likely have control of the colour of the LED strip.

Just a thought. The spread would be perfectly-even this way and it'd look cool.

I have this LED floor lamp from House of Troy (the exact name PFLED-617 Black and Brass LED Floor Lamp reviewed by https://www.perfectlygrand.com/ ) -: dimmable, adjustable and light covers a big area. Pretty cool one
