Hey all...

Shifting gear around and would love suggestions on a line level analog delay... I would take digital, as long as it had a 'modeled' or 'fake' analog preset.. I'm looking for that dark, rich sound similar to the DOD- r-880 but more modern in a pedal form... (slimming down)...

To be used in the effect loop of my ISP Theta Combo (soon to be upgraded with a Celestion Alnico Cream!).

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Found a cheap local MXR Carbon Copy... about to go grab it up!

I was all ready to suggest the Chandler SDE. It's digital but man it sounds great for what you seem to want. But it's a rack piece.

Alexander history lesson 2, does it all and tap tempo.

Well, damn...

It works just like it's supposed to, but the MIX knob apparently doesn't get rid of the original signal????

So running into the effect loop, the level of the delay is quite low... dammit...

Maybe I should just get another ISP Impression so I can control the level of the delay and the level of the original signal...

EDIT: OR, can I open it up and find a way to kill the original signal? The delay sounds quite nice, actually and the modulation is quite good as well...

SECOND EDIT: Nevermind... running it between my ISP Theta Rack Preamp and the Vector 2x12... sounds GREAT! Dark, lush, rich...

What type of loop? Yes there is a kill dry mod .

SUPER SWEET!

I might just do that!

It sounds pretty good between the Theta and the Vector... surprised it could take a line level signal... wasn't expecting that... no perceptible loss of tone, which is bloody nice....

Thanks for the info!

Another question:

I'm curious about running an MXR 234 Chorus from my line out on the ISP Theta Rack, into the Carbon Copy... I can only assume there will be no issues with line levels into the chorus, seeing as how the CC is handling it just fine?

(Man... I went from a ton of rack gear to a pedal in literally a couple of weeks...)

I went from a rack to a few pedals also recently. Refreshing!
