I found a lefty Suhr Modern on eBay today. Never seen one for sale and got excited....checked the price: $9134AUS    Closed that page quickly

I'm personally over the whole flame crazy wood stuff on guitars. Makes me feel like it's a piece of furniture and that I'd need a can of Pledge in my gig bag. Also for $9000+...... no thanks.

Yeah, I'm actually more into their cheaper, plain jane Satin models nowadays. I really loved the natural one so much that I recently got a black satin Modern to go with it. Love the way they play and love their more organic, woody tone....they vibrate like crazy. I still like my two fancier Custom Moderns, but the Satins are my regular workhorses.

You got me excited for a second...then I kept reading.

And remember, that's the USED price :aww:

I can appreciate the work that went into them, and the art of it. But I'd be afraid to touch one, much less play it :D
Really cool that they are doing stuff that you wont find coming out of korea by the thousands

I think this is a bit silly of Suhr. Make multiple sets of guitars that are too nice to really play and are priced way out of most peoples means. Some of the dealers that got the full set last year still have them. Suhr would be better off offering the modern neck heel on all of thier guitars as well as 24 fret versions of all models. Moderns with pick guards and different neck shapes too. Beautiful work but just a waste of time IMO.

IMO NO new guitar is worth $9000 unless it's covered in gold and jems. I can see an old collectable guitar but not new.

Lacewood is so boring. The body wood looks so much nicer than the top

I have owned Suhr's, PRS, Ibanez J-Custom's with beautiful quilt and flame top's. But these days I am more into guitars with solid color's. You don't have to worry about damaging the finish as much. I think Suhr is getting a bit carried away with these exotic guitars. I understand that he want's to continue to be enthusiastic and creative, but I don't see many people buying these.

I'm betting they sell very quickly. Always seems to be a market. Nothing wrong with a traditional solid color. If it sounds and plays great... Thats the important part

There's some on Ebay but none have sold yet and there's a few on Reverb. They look nice, but not 9K nice.

Ordered mine Nov 8 th. Should be done soon. Very pumped!
