Bought a Suhr MiniMix II a while back and just now hooked it up. Fits perfectly on my pedalboard and works great in the SLO's loop! Definitely improves the tone...great purchase.

I've been wanting one of these for a while!
So, let me know if I got this right: your flashback goes into the mini mix send and your hall of fame goes into the return of the mini mix, while the send from your amp goes to the in of the mini mix and the return of your amp goes into the out of the mini mix?

Yep, you are correct. Great device and does improve the tone. Not sure if they are still making these anymore....there is no mention of them on the Suhr website. You can still buy them though.

I have one also.

Guess what. I use it with my slo

Works great.

I was going to get one of these for my SLO to help out, but after a mega hours of research I kept coming back to the loop is in the middle of the amps tone stack or something like that...

So while the mini mix helps to some degree, the real issue that can't be solved is the design/placement of the loop in the amps tone stack if I am correct.

This single issue caused me to unload my SLO which is a very killer sounding amp indeed.

I heard that the Decatone does not have this loop placement issue, but does not sound like the SLO either... can't win for losing! lol

Well, one buy's an SLO for the tone and build quality not for the loop design. The Suhr MiniMix II works great and does improve the tone while using the loop.

To clarify, does the SUHR minimix convert the signal to a non line level, or does it improve the signal of a line level pedal?

I run a T Rex through my SLO, but if this would improve the signal, I would be open to it.
