Didn't Brad sell one of these not to long ago?

I don't think his was the "Modern" it was the first Reb sig.
But i dig them both.

Looks quite the same, at least to me since I am no expert in his guitars...

Don't dig the shape. Prefer the original.

Me too. I find the Modern bodies a little small, compared to the Standard especially with the aesthetics between bridge/PU selector and volume knob with all of it being a little close for comfort. Modern's sell better for some reason, though - I was told.

It isnt really.

A 2.2 lb Modern body if using the same wood on a Standard it would be identical, Classic would be 2.4lbs
We increased the thickness of all our bodies a few years ago to 1.75"
Not much difference to talk about with that or the weights
50% of all our custom guitars are moderns. That includes the standard, Classic and ClassT as well as the Aged models.

Thanks John...Standard or Modern, they are both beautiful guitars.

I'm still suprised that Koa gets compared to Mahoganey. I had a Suhr Koa standard and it more in common with a bright sounding solid maple or ash. There was nothing warm sounding about it. Koa looks pretty but I'd never take a chance on it again.

That would be my first choice of every guitar in the world if I had the cash. I'd probably swap the gold for black, but apart from that....

Guitar looks great.

I'm personally jones-ing for this one currently:
