Nothing innovative. Blah guitar playing with a Gorilla amp at the beginning. Vocals sounded OK but same simple progression. What am I missing. Guitar solo by his Mom? I am confused.

Not gonna lie. I ain’t hating this. Michael sounds great and George’s tone is kind of cool to me. Cleaner, meaner but just enough dirt to not wimp out.

I'm with you, it is steady groovy rock with some (maybe) too 80's vocals at times but still a very strong performance. George just keeps writing tunes, some better than others, but all of them have this groovy pulse for the most part which I dig. His lead tones and rythm tones don't bite as much as I think they could in spots but still some cool stuff there. The guy is meticulous about his tone and rarely do I think his tone absolutely sucks The opening riff is very " The Hunter". I'd like to see more of these tunes thrown into his live show tbh. I appreciate this guy and how authentic he is compared to some of his contemporaries.

Music good, lyrics are shallow and pedantic.

Meh, lyrics aren't too ridiculous that it detracts from the tune for me. With Sweet you are always going to get this love thyself and your fellow man shit vs score some babes. As long as he hides it well enough, I am ok with it. IMO of course, I get what you are saying as well.

I have no problems with a good message, but he has to write some thought provoking lyrics, not spell it out like a five year old.

If we could take that heart in the video pff life support, would that make the music stop?

Please?
