It’s cool stuff, but way over priced. Just the unit to plug in the modules is like $800. Maybe if it were $400 and the modules were like $300, I’d pick up some, but for the rack unit and 2 modules, it’s like $1,500. Then you need to buy a power amp.

The fact that they literally cannot get anything out the door to is a problem
Modules announced last NAMM are coming back again this NAMM
Reminds me of the Egnater booth same models from last year and then they were gone

The only reviews I’ve read were that other than the SLO the modules are kind of meh
Also many posts on the quality dual channels levels off noisy buzzy. Overtightened pots
Loose pots etc etc

I was actually referring to the "Synergy" capacitors...

But as for the modules, ya, seems they're more focused on getting them to the artists than to the general public.

Ah I thought you were talking about the modules. I don't have enough experience in caps to know the difference.

In regard to the modules, I still haven't checked them out in person.

They're Sozos... if you liked the old Sozos you will like these, same exact caps.

I came close to pulling the trigger on a syn1. I got to play with about 4 modules slaving thru a Smallbox. The high gained ones I messed with all shared a similar sound to them. It came down to comparing the dirty shirley module vs a mini DS and I managed to dial the DS module super close but it still didn't capture that sag that I really like about the DS. Maybe one day.
