Synergy w/ Randall MTS - Volume Pot Behavior

So I picked up a Randall MTS module (KH-1) today, threw it in my SYN-1 and the volume pot on the module is all or nothin'; it lets almost no signal through until you turn the module volume pot up to the last few millimeters of travel and then it's at full blast. Is this normal when using MTS modules with a SYN-1 or did I receive a damaged module?

I had two KH1's years ago and that didn't happen with either.

An MTS module docked into the SYN-1 should not act that way. Sounds like an issue with the module itself.

I buddy of mine owns the same setup you have. Same module. No problems with his.
