Cool so its like the flashback with the DMM and Echorec. It would be cool if they can do a flashback with options to choose from multiple toneprints.

I would like to hear more of the Echorec sounds they have built into the Alter Ego. PGS seems to have another exclusive to them winner on their hands.

I thought the whole idea of toneprints were that you could get different sounds/updates without having to buy another pedal?

Seems kinda bogus.

I wish every preset had the ability of choosing a toneprint in that type. Better yet, give us the editor to make our own.

+1. not releasing an editor for pedal owners to create their own/share tone prints is shortsighted (being polite as I dig TC Electronic kit). This alone would likely create bigger demand for these pedals.

I don't get TCE's position on this.

I bought one and love it. I have 2 Flashbacks and am going to replace one with this.

I wish I could store my Flashback setting/s. Once set it would make the knobs useless in case they get bumped

Does anyone run their flashback in front of a high gain amp with good results?

I I was experimenting with that today. I don't get good results like that. I use it in a pedal chain after ODs into a clean channel.

Bummer. Does the effects level control act like a volume because I see the new one has a mix knob which should be good for running in front?

Hey Quinn, like most other delays it sounds like mush unless you set it for a slapback type of effect, I have only had good results with a clean channel. If you are curious you can borrow my Flashback to test out with your rig.
