Do the Nova System, G-System or G-major have synths effects?

And can someone please describe the physical layout of the 4 cable method by giving me an example? Thanks in advance. :)

Not sure about Synth effects, but this is how I setup the 4 cbl method with my g-system.

You have your guitar going into the Input of the G-system, then there is an onboard loop you have to activate, so from there you do

G-system Loop Send to amplifier in.

G-system Loop return > fx loop send (on amp)

G-system output > fx loop return (on amp)

Pretty much it allows you to use the g-system and some effects in front of the amp, and any time based effects like modulation, delay, reverb goes into the loop.

But what if you want to run modulation and delay effects in front of the amp?

Thats a limitation of the g-system, you can't move the fx blocks around.. it's setup in a specific order.. unless you get rid of the 4 cable method and run it in the front thats the only way you can get modulation/delay in the front.

Only thing you can control is if the FX towards the end are in series, parallel, or semi parallel

But not sure why you would want to run delay/mod in the front, usually sounds like mud with high gain.

Mod sounds better in front of the amp, as long as you use a mix control or split to stereo.

Delay is great in front of the amp, as long as you play it right. It's just different to using it in the loop.

I see.. I need to try mod in front again, but I have never had any good results with delay unless it was run clean or low gain in front.

Thanks cyndicate

No problem :) The g-system is awesome, only thing is I wish it had the ability to move FX blocks around like the Axefx, but other then that I can't complain.
