TC Electronic Dtwo vs Line 6 Echo Pro ?

Which one of these delay units are "best" for a guitar rig, TC Electronic Dtwo vs Line 6 Echo Pro ?

I would like to use something like the Tech21 Midi Mouse to change presets.

I'm considering changing my delay and EQ to rackmount effects to save cable length as well as save up room on my pedalboard, thoughts?

D two is great for that tc style delay clean and 2290 ish.
Echo pro is more versatile and does tape/analog styles.

Also, I have this picture of VH's rig (from late 90s or late 80s? ) where he has 2 line 6 echo pros in his rack. Does anyone know more information about how he used them? I'm guessing 1 was for a spare like everything else in his rack.

No answer to your question, other than to say that pic isn't that old; Echo Pros didn't exist in the 80's or 90's.

It's really a shame L6 doesn't do a rackmount M13. It does the Echo Pro stuff and way more. Ah well.
