Soooo, what's the difference between the Flashback and the Nova delay which they've had out? Or, for all you guys lining up for the new Flashback, what didn't the Nova do?

I am wondering if TC will drop their Nova Repeater, which is at $170 street price. I have a Nova repeater and really like it, other than the bypass. I notice a difference in feel with the repeater in the chain, I am running it out front though. I have a TB looper to take it in and out of the chain. I may move it to my effects loops pedal board and get the flashback to run before the amp. I do wish they could have squeezed a tap tempo switch on the pedal, but the audio tap will work fine.

The new Hall of Fame reverb looks really cool too...

Thanks for the linkuess it fits! BTW, quoting myself was an accident, but I guess it ironically fits the message, lol

next day shipping is awesome =0

played around with the pedal for a while

it truly is a great pedal, i think for the listed price/size and features it outclasses everything in it's price range except maybe the nova repeater

it's a great size and super flexible, takes up as much room as say a cmatmods pedal

compared to the CC it's not quite as dark the delays are more pristine sounding even in analog mode, however the TC definitely has some sort of mojo to it, i could play the 'mod' setting for days, for ethereal/spatial stuff simply beautiful, each delay setting is very clear/pristine, studio quality for want of better words, i'm sure there's a setting for everyone in it

the tap tempo is cool, although i do prefer a separate switch usually for those kinds of things, and the looper is an added bonus (works just like the boss RC-2 but with a good switch ;)

i'll be looking into some toneprint stuff tonight, but if they release a toneprint editor that would be killer, or if indeed someone figures it out ;) it's bound to happen

i think the MXR might end up on fleabay, but i'll try and do a proper side by side comparison first, initial impressions though i'm very impressed, if anyone out there is looking for a small sized delay pedal that quite literally does it all , i'd heartily recommend it
