Great versatile delay that seriously delivers. Untouchable in its price range and out performs others twice its price imo. It's pretty hard to go wrong with it Charles...

Nice - thanks Kage. Is the Toneprint feature just a gimmick or does it actually improve the delay?

Was looking at this last night myself..problem with tone print is that you only get one at a time. Can't load a bunch of diff artists into same pedal so be ready for that. I prefer pedals to rack but lately when i price it out, the Gmajor2 I bought for 300$ seems more cost effective right now. The flashback sounds damn good though from what I have seen.

I picked up 2 of these a few weeks back here in the UK. Got to say I was really impressed. Its so versatile. Usually with delay pedals you don't have that much to play around with, but this thing has so many options. Mind you that can be a bad thing as its non stop tweakable. You find a setting you like then think " I wonder what a bit more of this will be like or what about a more vintage delay etc"
Anyway, great pedal, couldn't recommend it enough. I found it a lot warmer and not as processed as the Eventide Timefactor

in this instance,
the tone prints are artist presets that actually work, unlike so many rack units.
i love the ep-3 toneprint. in fact i thought when zach and i recorded his atomica last week that his VH tone could have used a little tape echo tweak from the flashback to inject a little more twisted warbly love on the back end (and don't quote me on that one :D ).

i can't remember ever using an artist preset for any rack device i've ever owned, except one landau patch i tweaked in my g-force.

probably the best delay for the money in that size format,

the toneprint is a nice feature , not a gimmick at all, some quality tone prints out there (Steve morse or Schackinger were my favourites when i had mine, and the chorus toneprint is pretty cool)

speaking of chorus, you can get a pretty cool reverb'd chorus kind of sound if you put in Mod mode, delay time as low as it will go, and then adjust the other knobs to taste , even the subdivision knob effects depth, enjoy

I have a Line 6 DL4 that Im using. I like that I have 3 banks on the DL4 but the thing is massive on my board. I was thinking of selling it and buying a couple flashbacks and have one set for a quick slapback for rhythm tones and the other for long slow lush delays. I could replace the DL4 with two of those and still squeeze one more pedal on my board

decisions decisions

it's a killer delay for the $. I love the tone print option, it is very usable.

Its a no brainer.
I am using droid to load the toneprints too.

Monkey easy so even i understand it.

Has anyone compared the TC flashback to the TC nova repeater or TC nova Delay?

I know the TC flashback is the 'IN' pedal right now on the forums, but I have the repeater and like it, not sure if its worth changing to the flashback.

I bought (2) Flashback's...one for Delay and one for the "Tri-Chorus" Toneprint which sounded better than the new Carona Chorus pedal!

i had the flashback and the repeater, i guess it boils down to how bad you need the tap tempo switch (more subdivisions on the nova repeater/delay as well) as the implementation in the flashback is impossible to use on the fly (mutes your guitar when you're strumming the tap), sound wise the flashback has more options, as to one sounding better hard to say, in similar modes/sounds they're pretty close imo

the flashback is a bit more like a swiss army knife, in the sense that is has looper/ + tone prints / chorus functionality and more delay types in a smaller pedal,
