For those who have used it, is it as good as everyone seems to say? I am looking to get my first reverb pedal. I've never really used reverb but I've been playing clean alot more recently and it is in dire need of some verb!

Has anyone used it with gain? how did that do? I'd love to find a setting that could work for both clean and OD(just to fill things up a bit)

I love it...it did everything i wanted it to clean, dirty etc...

Did you set it up one way and just leave it on for both clean/dirty? how'd ya have it set up?

yeah...i just set it up to a reverb i liked...and used for clean and dirty

Best bang for the buck is Neuaber Wet, second best Strymon Blue Sky (Has benefit of shimmer setting and is on my live rig pedal board). The NWet has a nice way in the guitar sound and is super easy to use. A little more expensive but worth it and I've been thru a ton of reverbs.

i like it so much i have two (on different boards) does nice ambient sounding verbs (church or mod mode) and can do anything in between , best in it's price range imo , try and find one used and save some money =)

oh..if you get one...make sure you have a power adapter...these pedals love to eat batteries

For 100 bucks used it's fine. But so is the Digitech Hardwire as well as the verbzilla from Line 6. For high gain you'll have to use a reverb pedal in your effects loop unless you want a face full O ass coming outta yo speakers.

It's a fine pedal. I am happy with with digitech rv7, but if I got nother it would be the hof.

Also running it in the loop is ideal.

thanks for all the info guys. im gonna check out the TC, Digitech, and the Wet

I dig mine. Great pedal.

And oh, nothing "smokes" it.

Just because you own it doesn't necessarily make the best one on the planet.

Depends on what type of reverb(s) you are looking to use. How much are you will to spend?
I recently went through a few reverb pedals in a shootout. The TC HOF was one. I returned it. If you plan to use it in front the HOF can get kind of crazy at times. If you decide to go Hardwire for reverb I would recommend the Supernatural over the RV-7 to you.

None taken. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I found the RV-7 was too processed sounding, took over the original tone too much no matter how much I had the mix/level set for, and not as realistic as say your Strymon Flint that you have. Thanks again for doing the videos on the Flint. That was what made me decide to through in the reverb lot I had to demo to reach my decision of what to go with.

I plan to use whatever I get in a loop. The Nenuaber Wet has my interest right now.

Logic and comprehension fail you.
