So when plugging into ch1 high sens and then jumpering from ch1 low to ch2 high sens I hear you have to watch out for phase issues, what exactly should I hear when this happens?

Yeah I know I am going to get slapped for this, sorry but I am used to high gain switchers still

No phase issues to watch out for.....on Fender twins and such yes.....

If you are having phase issues, IT"S NOT LOUD ENOUGH! :rawk:   :D

I have something coming to help with the loud factor, I had fucking lightbulbs coming loose one floor up in the house

Now see some people have said yes there are possible issues  Made a jumper last night but it was too late to demo at proper volumes, maybe I will find out after work today.

Both channels are in phase.
But, you will attenuate your incoming guitar signal if thats what you're after?
not my cup'o tea.

I know the low sens have 6db of attenuation and I did not get this while reading on-line.

So what is the standard way to jump without the attenuation?

You don't.

Well then, nothing that about 20db of fucking line level boost won't fix

The way you're doing it is the way everybody does it, so just check that out and see if you like it. That's really all there is to it. Me personally I prefer just going straight in to one channel or the other....

No issues. Just jump it and crank it!

Personally, I prefer no jumping...

Been reading for the past hour at metro and yeah it seems that my best bet is straight into the amp with no jumpers. I was under the impression that more gain was t be had but it seems to be more of a tone shaping thing. I have a lot to learn still with these.

Gotta love the net know-it-alls! :) I just run into the bright channel, the dark channel is useless to me, adds way too much mud even when it's just alittle. Stock Marshalls just can't handle much low end.

I used to jumper, but-and I assume it's phase realted-something happens to the signal that messes it up for me. Once I heard it the first time I used the Bright in only. And I assume Steve as well.

I have been using the upper left and just going to stick with that, close enough for audio hand grenades. I have other things to worry about :D
