I've got a couple of these lying around. They came as spares with my Gerlitz amp. I believe they're used as the quasi tube power section for the two different amp circuits in that amp, but I'm curious if they're good for anything else. I love to tinker with things, but if one of you guys has some experience with these, I'd love to hear about it. I've read that they're basically a 12AU7, but that doesn't help me much. I normally just stick to 12AX7's for most everything, and have never actually used a U7 for anything.
