It has more gain and is darker and fizzier at the same time. Pretty nice British clean.

thats what i was about to buy not too long ago. The 'ASIS' refers to the presence knob stem, which is snapped off.

you can usually find them for $300-$400.Go for the 8 knob not the 6.

Read up on em.....
6 knob, more desirable. Less gain.
8 knob, aor lead channel. Can get very fizzy.
8 knob series 2, even fizzier. Supposedly lesser parts.

I had a mint, series 2, 50 watter.
I liked it.
Louder than shit.
Dark heavy tone.
Liked boost.
Bought $400.
Sold, $350.

Bought a Marshall.
