You have the SSV+ in the bridge....or the SSV in the neck?

Wish my EBMM sould sell so I could get a new amp. The guitar is killer but I'm wanting a new amp in the worst way.

I've been trying to sell a guitar myself, but it seems like buyers are scarce nowadays. Everyone just seems to be trading at the moment, not much buying going on.

I'd suggest a DSV+

The EBMM is quite bright acoustically, the double screws have a sweeter top end.

You have the SSH+ the pup I'm considering is the SSV+ :(

also, I hear ya about the amp. I played a PT100 and it was probably my favorite amp ever. Great cleans and perfect crunch....but way too much cash for me. Oh well... :aww:

SSV+ is awesome
I liked it better than the Aldrich
It has low resistance and medium output, a more open sound ans vintage feel
For metal, it might not get tight enough

I've never heard the SSV+ bridge pickup firsthand, but it makes sense to me that it might not cut it enough for metal. Where as the SSH+ that is in many of my Suhrs, seems voiced just enough for hard rock and some metal. Just as they have the SSH+ described on their website: "The SSH+ is a high output pickup that produces a clear cutting top-end with excellent harmonics and a focused low end. Recommended for Rock and Classic Metal." Then again, you might get by with the SSV+ just fine....hard to say?
