I've got a new modern style impedence selector switch on it's way to me, and I'd love some advice on what I need to be looking for to know which taps on the OT are which. The guy I bought the amp from had it hardwired to the output jacks. Now I don't know which wire is for which impedance. I've got green, gray, yellow, and orange coming from the OT. The amp in question is my '79 JMP 2204.

Nevermind... I was thinking 100 watt... LOL... Here is the corrected version:

RED = Start
Brown
White = Finish

Grey = 16 ohm
Green = 8 ohm
Yellow = 4 ohm
Orange = Common

The only things you're really going to mess with are the impedance taps (16, 8, 4) and maybe the Start wire (soldered to the output jack's jumper) if it needs relocating. Leave everything else as it is.

One more thing! SWEET AMP!!! I love those!

If the OT ever goes, replace it with a Marstran, and you will be happy!
