I’m building a nitro aged Charvel clone. I’ve never done the water slide before but have some nitro bodies and reliving. I want to go the preprod logo route and don’t want to experiment on a 500 neck. Since the neck will be aged oil, I wanted to make sure that my method was compatible with that finish, so I got a test block and hit with several coats of watco oil then applied the decal and went to work I’m pretty happy with the results. No lines!! I can adjust the glossiness or flatness easily.
