Asshole burglars broke into my house... stole absolutely no gear
I'm not too sure what to think

Consider yourself lucky that they didn't get any equipment !

Sounds like your house was burglarized.....therefore making them asshole burglars....just be glad that you weren't home!

I had that happen to me twice 10yrs ago ...... only took TV, DVD's and cameras both times. They even went through the DVD's and only took some of the rarer ones

Burglars, yes. I edited that

They're the ones who should be glad I wasn't home (I'd like to think)

They didn't even bother touching my gear or any of my CDs
They did grab a pepsi bottle, peed in my toilet and I think they took 3 rolls of TP...

Maybe homeless person, or kids looking for a trophy of their crime?

I was making a joke about butt burglars, when speaking of being thankful that you were not there.

And I know what you mean about actually being home, most people have probably gone through a scenario like that, in their mind. Crooks are getting bolder everyday, so you have to be ready to react quickly to their actions. It is almost safer have your mind made up, and follow through with the plan under certain conditions.....ie. 1) They have a weapon? 2) Age of the person coming into your house? 3) Entry method and force used? Etc

Whether they are 8 or 80, they have already decided what their course of action is for most scenarios, (Fight or flight). So it pays to be ready, because it is proven that if you do not have a game plan, their reaction to your presence will occur sooner, than your reaction to theirs.

I would keep an extra careful eye on your bank account and credit accounts. All these asswipes need is a few account numbers or a soc. Next thing you know, you'll be charging things and opening accounts in another state.

I have no use for any person that feels compelled and justified in entering another mans home (or vehicle) without having been invited. :gethim:

I (sorta) wish you had been there so, just maybe, one (or more) useless human could be removed from the equation.

That sucks  , lucky they did not take any gear :gethim: . That was good advice from Erock, I would throw away anything in the fridge that was open (milk,OJ etc) and double check to make sure I did not miss something that was gone. oh, def get a new toothbrush   .
