THD 4x12 - thoughts?

Anyone have one of these cabs? Time for me to add another 4x12 to the herd and this one is in the top 3 on the list. Curious how it reacts to low and high gain amps. The construction looks top notch.

And yes Ed, please pipe in, would love to hear what you think of it. :D

DOn't listen to that Ed Degenaro guy. He has never once played any of the THD stuff :D
 
You are all over the place!!!!!!! Not that my head is on straight :aww:

The only thing are the beam blockers, does that affect micing?

Supposedly it really helps things out and gives you more of a 3d sound.
 
As always when it comes to THD take it with a bucket of salt since I'm the head sales monkey. :)

As for the cab...simply when I use a 4x12 that's all I use since nothing sounds like it. In a good way.
The disbursers make it sound the same regardless where I stand, and the porting makes it-unlike any other 4x12 I used-sound killer for clean.
Close miking is a bit trickier since you pretty much forced to mike somewhere between the edge and where the dustcover starts, but seeing that that's where I put the mike anyways it's fine for me.
