Only 200,000 notes? Slow day?![]()
I had a singer that tried that once.Badronald":2u2nmz34 said:Sheesh. I can sit with a bottle of Patron Silver in front of the TV for 3 or 4 hours and play 200,000 notes. I think.
I'll get back to you on that later tonight.![]()
It just looks like a reg computer type fan. Fairly large. Its probably something that gets the voltage too it. Gonna be a pain in the butt to get it apart. The fan spins so its not bound up, but I smelled something bad.Ayrton":2y98tqyt said:Is the fan proprietary, or does lit look like a regular computer style fan? You might be able to replace it yourself.
Maybe thats why their site is down. Good thing i have another Hotplate. Sucks being in the middle of tracking and having stuff break!scottcrud":2eoiji28 said:They are still in biz. Mike Soldano told me Andy was in the process of moving to a different building...Soldano and THD are walking distance from each other.

They were out of stock.stratotone":34cby3mn said:http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=1N5359B
.36 each, 3rd item down. Can also buy resistors, caps and fuses there too so you don't have one part cost you $8 or whatever in shipping.

Digikey was 1000pc minimum I think. Rupe sent me a link to Future Electronics...they had it and I ordered a few extra just in case. This was the only part that was bad in my Hotplate, unless the fan is fried too. But I think its ok.blackba":382qjtkb said:Greazygeo":382qjtkb said:So it looks like I burned up this part 1N5359B 24 volt Zener Diode. Anyone know where I can get one? Check Digikey. http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea ... 359BGOS-ND
Mouser will probably have them too.
Had my issues with Zener diodes over the years. I have used this exact part, but I think I got rid of all my extras.
