Hi Everyone,

I still can't believe this really happened...

A few weeks ago, he contacted me about the 20W metal amp build that I made some time ago.
I got right to work and designed custom faceplates for his build and began to make a layout for the chassis.

Drilling the chassis myself wasn't fun, but it turned out well and everything fit as I wanted it to.

All in all, it was a really fun build, constantly having in mind that Jeff is gonna play through it, which I can't wait to hear.

Of course, I can't really do the amp justice in comparison to Jeff's playing haha, but I tried my best in the limited time I had to film the video.

Hope you enjoy!

Sounds awesome man. You play it pretty well too. I can't wait to hear Jeff Loomis play it either

Thanks!
I've never been so nervous recording a video... Didn't help my playing lol
The Red Plate 100w Magica destroys this amp. Then it gathers the pieces and pounds them into dust, exiling this amp out of existence. Can’t wait for your next amp creation will which in turn similarly obliterate the Red Plate. You had to have been there to get this.

Haven't been there haha

I scrolled through the video, I like it. Did you mention what power tubes you are using?

Sounds great as always Eddy... I've never been a an of EL84's but you make them sound good.

Have you considered using EL34, 5881, or 6l6 just running at a lower voltage like the Soldano HR25, SLO30 and PRS MT15?

I feel the full side power tubes just give a larger footprint in those amps versus the smaller tubes like 6V6 and El84. I'm not knocking them in your amp in any way, so great job on getting them to keep their backbone in the low frequencies and retaining headroom.:2thumbsup:

I assume Loomis was wanting EL84's because of how your previous 20 watter sounded. Nice the be recognized Eddy great job!
