Taking the A2 out gigging this weekend. No amps or cabs.....the rack even has wheels and a retractable handle. My ass is mobile now

I set up a killer Boogie IIC+ for most stuff. Using a Mark IV Lead and using the Atomica profile set up as a Plexi tone. Triaxis Green for cleaner stuff.

And, look what I found hiding in the store room. One of Friedman's old A&S pedalboards. Don't remember where I picked that up at. Perfect size though.

Why did you decide to do the patching at the front of the rack, and not the rear?

Anyways, looks clean regardless.

Badass. How are you integrating with it feel-wise live?

I'll let you know tomorrow night :D

Feel wise, it is no problem whatsoever. I have the two powered monitors to give me all the feel I need. As a matter of fact, they are skirt blowers. The RCF's really put out. The stereo imaging with the 2 monitors in front or to the side really makes up for not having a cab behind you. With the Axe, I have the main outputs (OUT1) copied to OUT2, which is the active monitors. So, I can control volume to them separately from the volume I am send to the FOH mixer. The rest of the band is on IEM's, so not a bother to them. I have been using them, but may not this weekend, just to get the imaging. Probably, I will put one of my monitors in front and one as a side-wash and the other stage mix monitor in front to pick up the bass player and vocals.

It's so cute!

Diet tone! must be nice losing 2-300 lbs....

Bet it sounds kickass

A rack with retractable pull handle and wheelies? Goddamn you've gone SO metrosexual with this thing Steve. What next, a murse to carry your spare strings and a tuner in?

Glad you're grooving with it Bro.

That's a Briggs and Riely 22 inch Carry-on (USA) suitcase that will hold both the Axe Fx II without the Rack ears and the MFC and a couple of EV-5's..

Go to the Fractal Forum. There is lots of info on there, and people will answer any questions you have.

If you run into a wall, just send a PM. It can be overwhelming, but, you don't have to know everything all at once. I've barely scratched the surface yet. First though, go through through the wow presets and the FX on it. Then concentrate on finding amps that work for you or something you want to recreate. Take the model and EQ it to taste. This is the most important part. Add the FX you want and set up the signal chain and switching. Then, start getting into all the layers of this thing.
