Hi,
I was incredibly surpriser I got to 136,4 decibel with master volume 1 on my Clean channel on my amp with my Clspton signature Stratocaster with Vintsge Noiceless stacked Humbuckers in 0,3 seconds. Usually I dont get any volume from the amp at all from my normal Stratocaster or my Gibson Les Paul at master volume 1 at the Clean channel. I soon realised way the active cuircuit in non linear. It means Ohms law does not apply. That means like the fly killer you can have 3 volt batteriers and it senfäste out 15 000 volt out put. Many proffesional studios have put the Clapton signature Stratocaster with Viktage Noiceless stacked Hunbuckers at 100 fb boost and eitjout mig boost 93 db boost which means the Clspton signature at 100 db boost ( 100 decibels more ) is 1024 times louder Than a real Stratocaster and at 93 db boost 850 times louder Than a real Stratocaster. Its not Strangr though it has 4 cascaded transistors including a differentials pair that takes the 9 volt battery and voltage Boosts it to 15000 to 25 000 volts since the Micro amper is low under 100 Micro amper its not dangerous to the amp though, there transistors save voltage with the 14 condendours that then releases the 15 000 to 25 000 volts. Its not going to be on 15000 to 25 000 volts all the time i Will back down a bit.from the 15000 to 25 000 volts and then go back immidiately thats the way non linear active cuircuits. Work. But because of a high set bias it wont back down much before immidiately returning. You can imagine the output of 15000-25 000 volts compared to a real Stratocaster of 0,15 volt output and a Gibson Les Paul at 0,2 volt out put. It has 19 perfectly put resistors for huggets possible output and used fast switchibg in an incredibly manner. The coils are inside the Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers. I was surprised how incredibly much louder it was Than my old Clapton Signature Stratocaster with Lace sencour pick ups. The Clapton . Signature Stratocaster with Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers with 9,8 Khom 3 Henries was at 111,2 decibels the Clapton signature Stratocaster with Lace Sencour Gold was 65 decibels Lower at 46,2 decibels. And even when I raised the volume just a little bit on the amp so the Vintage Noiceless Clapton signature Stratocaster got to 120 decibels it was 73 decibels louder Than the Clapton signature Stratocaster with lace sencour gold pick ups. On there tests, I had kowered the EQ quite a lot so the Vintage Noiceless Clapton signature Stratocaster would not go too high. Then I made the EQ a bit louder and the Clapton signature Stratocaster with Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers at master volume 1 in 0,3 seconds got to 136,4 decibels I suppose it was stopped by the amp. Even though non linear signals can go well beyond the Amps maximum there is a stop some where and going to the 136,4 decibels in 0,3 sekonds off course would hace Been more with a more powrdul amp. . At 136,4 decibels the Clapton signature Stratocaster with Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers was 86,3 decibels louder Than my Clapton signature Stratocaster with lace sencour gold pick ups. To ubderstand hos incredibly much more this is a guitar thats 65 decibels louder Than the other is 93 times louder to the ears. A guitar thats 73 decibels louder Than another is 160 times louder yo the Hunan ears and a guitar thats 86,3 decibels louder Than another guitar is 400 times louder Than the other guitar. No wonder Clapton wanted an extremely much more powerful signature guitar. On the distorted Channel you cant use the Clapton signature Stratocaster with Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers unless you have a Soldano 0100 or Fender Twees ( Clapton used both) . Or you can but the amp Will lower it to a normal guitars volume however you get a distortion like you have 5 distortion pedals in line. And you get the easily fattest tone you have ever heard from a guitar. This guitar is heat they call a sleeper it looks like another guitar but is as far away from it as humanly possible. It does not have 1 Strat Ribe in it. Then off course it has 2 volume knobs and no rond knob, it has a TBX ( Trebble and Bass expander ) indtead. On 1 you have maximum bass and. At the top maximum trebble and they mest in the middle. Also the the Bridge is locked so even if it coles with a whammy bar you cant use it. To be honest Fenders made upp Numbers are extremely dangerous you can go deaf with the Clapton Signature Stratocaster very quickly. The mid boost is more or less 5-6 decibels so its the incredible non linear active cuircuit that makes it so incredibly poserful easiky the most powrdul guitar in the world. I actuakky had more decibels a few times.without the mid boost Than with the mid boost thats a clear inducator of a non linear active cuircuit. Clapton in his auto biography Said he started recordibg with normal Stratocasters in 1974 but by 1982 he was completely fed up with them.
