So I took my D-Moll to practice last night- hard rock loud band with a 2nd guitarist who uses a TSL dialed in with bee buzzz

The singer goes "Dweezil, like Dweezil Zappa?"
The bassist goes "Is that some kind of custom amp"

These guys never heard of Diezel?! They're over 40, plenty of years in the biz, and the name doesn't ring a bell. I was shocked.

Suffice to say the D-Moll kicked all kinds of ass delivering huge amounts of hi gain clarity & punch. I'll need to get a switcher so I'm not flipping switches on the front panel lol. I still love the Kemper for it's portability, tone and ease of fx but the D-Moll just felt awesome

I am constantly amazed by a friend of mine that I jam with once a month...he plays bass, and has played in bands for over 20 years. Doesn't do forums and doesn't care. Every time he comes over and I have something new he asks where I got it and how I heard about it. We have to spend an hour watching vids on YT before we play so he can check out all the stuff he's interested in.

Same for new music. Dude had no idea who Devin Townsend was, and was astonished at his back catalog. :D

Glad the Kemper is still kicking people's asses!

It's not that surprising to me. I think most people aren't really gear-heads like the people on this forum...

Let me say that Ray has been making some killer profiles and this D-Moll is one of his bests. I haven't been playing much metal lately but this one is just awesome! I'll try and make a quick clip soon.

I just listened to the track on Soundcloud......BRUTAL.

Thanks! I cring at my solo performance but the chorus crunch sounds great
The Kemper sounds dead on to the amp. The feel is great but not quite the same as the actual amp- which is my opinion on most profiles. I think I have found my tone heaven between DMo & KPA!
