It's a beast. Absolutely loves detuned guitars. It's extremely tweakable. While I've only had a few hours with it, I'm getting extremely close to my original Peters Gryphon tones. I've got it dialled in with a thick nasty growl in the mids and a sledgehammer punch in the lowend for slamming chunky goodness. It has such a massive but tight sonic footprint. It's impressive how it stays clean and clear while still having juicy warmth. It can be dialled in tight and clanky, but that's not my thing.

It's a dream to solo on. It responds extremely well to your fingers and pick for slight tonal variations and screaming harmonics. Just a really toneful amp with gobs of power. I love this thing.

I'll record a rough video soon.

You kinda hit a point I think people don’t realize with these amps, that they can be tight and clanky but they really don’t have to be. Congrats man, lots of dialing and tones to discover yet

How’s the clean channel??

Hell yeah man!
Congratulations on the amp!
I played mine yesterday for about 90 minutes! It's incredible how Henric's mods are versatile and how good and easy they feel under the fingers.
Enjoy your amp!!

Congrats. Just wondering if it can be dialed in tight but without the clank. Some amps can do it but on others getting them tight means introducing ugly clank to the tone.

sweet.....
Cheers Jack.

For sure. The range of tweakability of this amp is huge with all the voicing and EQ controls. It's very easy to make it sound ordinary. But gee whiz does it allow for a wide variety of tastes and shades. So many things yet to try haha.

The clean channel is much like the high gain. Massive range of tones. It can be just about anything you'd want your own personalised clean channel to be. I only have humbucker equipped guitars at the moment (my Chubtones on order both have H-S-S configs) and the cleans are better than anything I've owned before. I'm really looking forward to using the Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails with it.

Congratulations, fireJack!
…a wee bit jealous?
Congrats!
Congrats! Enjoy it !
Many thanks guys.
Heya Tech any updates on yours?

Cheers Jack.

I know right! It's got that "so good to play you lose time" thing in spades. Very bouncy and elastic feeling.
Cheers man!

cleeps mon....we need da cleeps!!!
Yes post a couple clips of that Beast Big Time congratulations!
Haha soon. I'm going to start turning the camera on whenever I turn the amp on and see what comes out. Right now though I have builders over working on the house. But soon. :)

Absolutely. That's exactly the way I have it set. I hate clank. I like a full bouncy low end. With the Tightness and Punch controls, you can really zone in on that aspect of the tone. My Tightness control is halfway up, but I'm keeping the Punch fairly low. Seems to be the way to go for a more vintage feeling response.

Interesting to hear it compared to a Peters. Congrats

Safe to say you’re not a avid fan of Fender break-up?
That’s a tall order with a Fender\Tweed, the clank.
But I know what you mean.
Maybe that clank has something to do with transformer quality/headroom?
Or just a talented amp builder to make the most of the machine in front of him, which comes as a beast, right out of the womb.. a f’n evil demon.
How would you like to chop that umbilical chord
on the delivery room floor??
